Hello HP folks,
Here is the deadline and guidance for upcoming HP2023.
(from Rongrong's email last month)
Abstract submission deadline to conference:
- HP 2023: Dec. 5, 2022
Conference dates:
- HP 2023: Mar. 26-31 2023
1) Upload proposed abstracts to Drupal 2 weeks before the conference deadline
- HP 2023: Nov. 21, 2022
2) Who will submit the abstracts to conference?
- HP 2023: by PAC centrally. Please do not submit abstracts yourself.
3) We would like to urge PAs to give at least two presentations at PWG meetings before abstract deadline to STAR. The following items should be covered in those presentations:
- Indication of intentions to submit an abstract
- Plans on whether new preliminary results will be requested for the conference. If so, please report the current status of the analysis, and outline the steps needed for obtaining new preliminary results, e.g. datasets needed to be restored or embedding sample required, etc.
4) 3-4 weeks before the conference starts, i.e. Feb. 27th - Mar. 10th 2023, PAs, who want to show new preliminary results, should make an official request to the PWG. You can find a template for such a request here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Prelim_Request_template.pdf. Please remember to include the physics messages accompanying the new preliminary results.
- Of course, you are more than welcome to make such requests earlier
- Regular updates in the PWG are essential for making the approval process smooth
5) All presentation/posters should be posted on Drupal by Mar. 13th, 2023 for approval
Please let us know if you need any support\information\ embedding request, etc. from our side.
Cheers
Barbara, Yi, Sooraj, and Nihar
