Hi Yuan,
I still think the following sentence is not clear:
"In particular,
the study of heavy flavor quark energy loss is an independent way to extract the properties of
QGP bulk medium, which is generated by the hard scattering process with large energy and
momentum deposition during several fm/c."
You write at the beginning that heavy quarks are produced in hard scatterings. I suggest:
Therefore
they are ideal probes for studying the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) properties. In particular,
the study of heavy flavor quark energy loss is an independent way to extract the properties of
QGP bulk medium, which is generated by the hard scattering process with large energy and
momentum deposition during several fm/c. -> Therefore they are ideal probes of the medium properties that can be extracted via studies of the heavy flavor quark energy loss.
