Please rephrase this. _ Discrimination between direct photon and neutral pion triggers … -> Detection of direct photon and neutral pion coincidence with their recoil jet population is important to study the QCD process in proton-proton and heavy-ion collisions. [Make it generic physics motivation] _ Machine learning techniques have been introduced as a useful tool to classify ….using transverse shower profile and other trigger particle information. -> "In this study, the TMultiLayerPerceptron class, a machine learning technique in the ROOT package, is utilized to discriminate the direct photon and neutral pions samples using the transverse shower profile method in the STAR experiment."
