Hello Isaac

I was asked by the STAR management to take a look at your poster. Here are
some comments for your consideration:

ABSTRACT
- Please modify the abstract to better reflect what's shown in the poster.
For example, you do not show any comparison between short and long path
lengths.

MOTIVATION
- The current text is a bit confusing. It reads like that jet-medium
interaction is influenced by both system geometry and path length. I thought
what you want to say is jet-medium interaction is affected by path length,
and we can use system geometry (centrality, event shape engineering, event
plane angle) to better control the path length and study the path length
dependence in detail.
- It will be good to add a bit more introduction to the concept of
event-shape engineering and eccentricity.
- The two cartoons above the figure seem to indicate that the nuclear size
changes from central to peripheral collisions. Is this your intention?

THE STAR EXPERIMENT
- It is a bit weird to introduce event plane angle here since it is not used
in the results presented in this poster.
- Also, the q2 value shown in the section "EVENT CHARACTERIZATION" is
calculated within 2.14 < eta < 5.09. Isn't positive eta corresponding to west
side?

EVENT CHARACTERIZATION
- explain what w_i is
- Right figure
-- Add "Au+Au, \sqrt{s_NN} = 200 GeV"
-- Put y-axis title in one line
- Centrality, q2 correlated -> Centrality and q2 are correlated
- The last bullet is confusing since you do not use \Psi2 and v2 in the
results

TRACK SPECTRA COMPARISONS
- Title: Track -> Charged-hadron
- It is not clear why using west EPD, instead of the default east EPD, to
define q2 would assess the uncertainty related to q2 resolution. They could
be multiple effects, such as decorrelation, fluctuation, EPD resolution, etc,
affecting the correlation between east and west EPDs.
- Also, I think you should introduce the main results (second bullet) before
discussing about uncertainties.
- Selecting on -> Select on
- events, compare track spectra -> events, and compare charged-hadron spectra
- What do you mean by "Interplay"?
- Left figure
-- Add "Au+Au, \sqrt{s_NN} = 200 GeV"
-- Add centrality information
-- x-axis title and label are too small
- Right figure
-- Need a "STAR Preliminary" label
-- Enlarge the y-axis scale a bit since the data points are very close to text
-- y-axis title slightly overlaps with the y-axis label
- You can probably put the third bullet as a sub-bullet of the fourth bullet

CONCLUSIONS
- move "consistent with ALICE4" to the end of the bullet
- The statements "statistical power limits conclusion on high- quenching" and
"Expected to be minimal by average path length argument" read a bit
contradictory. On the one hand, we say the effect should be very small, while
on the other hand we kind of complain that the statistical precision is not
good enough to see quenching. Actually, why do we expect to see quenching in
this observable?
- between jets with longer, shorter -> between longer and shorter

Best
