Hi Isaac,

Thank you so much for signing off. Here are my answers to your questions.
12. Considering the fact in WPCF, majority are familiar with event mixing techniques, so I haven't added any detail but if required I can explain a bit during presentation.
18. I have added the specification of theory inputs which we are looking for to make any conclusion for charm-light quark interaction. As we know, from analytical models like LL, the femtoscopic correlation function is used to extract emission source size considering only final state interaction which is here interaction between D0 meson and charged hadron. But it is also possible to detect interaction behavior between charm and light quark within QGP medium using correlation function and proper theoretical model.

Please let me know if the explanation is clear to you. I have uploaded a modified version on Drupal. Please find it here https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/WPCF_Priyanka_V7.pdf.

Regards,
Priyanka

Hi Priyanka,

Sorry for the delay — the slides look very good to me. I just have two small comments, and sign off.

Thanks, and enjoy the workshop,
Isaac

12. I think it would be good to explain a bit what the event mixing technique is, since I don’t think everyone will be familiar with it. But maybe at WPCF actually everyone is an expert on it.

18. The fourth bullet is a bit vague and also potentially confusing. You show on the previous slide a comparison with a theoretical calculation, but then say right afterward that “theoretical inputs are needed”. You might want to specify here (especially since you have plenty of white space at the end of this slide) exactly what additional theory contribution you’re looking for.

Hello Priyanka,

Thank you answering my comments.

On SLide4: please mention what is "a_pi D" ?

Besides, I don't have any further comment. I sign off.
Enjoy the workshop!

Best
Nihar
