Dear Qian,

thank you very much for your comments! They are implemented in v4 of
the abstract.

The pT has been studied up to 10 GeV/c for now, but with the BHT2
dataset it should be viable to include a 10-15 GeV/c bin. The rages
were included in brackets; please let me know if this is alright, or
if I should change this.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
Jakub

Hello Jakub,
Nice abstract. Please find my comments below:

First paragraph, you mentioned quarkonium. Then it changes to
upsilon
at second paragraph. Better to mention why upsilon is important?
Larger mass and binding energy give a more precise prediction for
upsilon than J/Psi.
In the second part, It will be good to mention the upsilon rapidity
and
pT range.

as well as the invariant production cross-section -> as well as the
inclusive production cross-section.

Dear Isaac,

thank you for your comments, I fully agree. I have decided to omit
the
reference of heavy-ion collisions, which is not the focus of this
study. I have implemented your comments in the new version (v3).

Thank you for your time and sorry for my delay related to travel.

Best regards,
Jakub

Hi Jakub,

Nice abstract — it will make a great poster. Please find a few
small
comments below. With these addressed, I sign off.

Thanks,
Isaac

The first statement is a bit of a tautology -- "The study of []...is
of great interest in understanding []". Maybe "The study of
quarkonium
production in p+p collisions is of great interest in understanding
the
relative importance of mechanisms that contribute to its formation,
which is an outstanding question" or something like that. This
formulation would probably require breaking the mention of heavy-ion
collisions to a separate sentence, especially because it would fit
better this way with the sentence which comes after (you might be
able
to merge those two).

"during Run17" is unnecessary and can be removed.

"larger data sample"
