Hi all:

A brief minutes for today's meeting:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/comp/qa/pwg-qa/run-22-qa

For Run-22 offline QA:
>From Lanny Ray:
1). Run 23057040 decreased number of hits in FEEs in Sector 17, RDO 5 for
both st_fwd and st_physics:
2). Runs 23057032 – 046 TPC sector 19, RDOs 5-8 masked out.
3). Run 23059026 no dE/dx, BTOF, MTD-track matching.
4). Run 23060029 TPC sector 4, RDOs 5-8 masked out.
5). In run 23057028 st_fwd and st_physics data streams, the dE/dx mean is
much too high and the ionization energy band resolution is very poor.
-> Also found by LF group, as it is the first production running in
about 33 hours down time, maybe there was database issue

>From PWG groups:
TOF/TPC related issues:
1). Continue to see TPC Vz - VPD Vz = 5cm
2). Lower primary track multiplicity
3). Lower primary track multiplicity with btof hits
4). nTCan (Number of particles for T0 calculation) is low, and seems
decreasing over the run. -> It will be useful to make a plot for this
variable over the whole Run22 period, and see the trend. Maybe there are
calibration issues as run goes. Or because the luminosity is higher now.
5). Two runs failed the QA by HF group, and cannot get the reason from
shiftlog:
23053023 do not pass primary track "dE/dx" QA.
23050006 do not pass "VPD west hits" QA

BEMC/EEMC issues:
1). Higher bemc tower multiplicity
2). Higher bemc tower eta
3). Higher EEMC tower multiplicity, and it has a lot of variations and
fluctuations -> During that time, the luminosity in each fill has
fluctuations.
4). Higher EEMC tower Et last week, but step decrease from 23056016 to
23057028: ETOW and ESMD errors were seen as expected because a few boxes were
being configured. EEMC FEE and slow control were power cycled. The limit on
LV #97 U0 was adjusted by hand to HIGH – 5.8V

BES-II QA:
4.59GeV QA is presented, got consistent values from different analyzers.

Best,
Ting
