Thanks very much for the followup studies.

Since the VpdVz-Vz peak position is shifted to the negative side by about 5
cm, I think it is better to cut on |VpdVz-Vz+5| < 3 or < 5 cm. Nevertheless,
your cut is also fine for our purpose of checking the TpcVz distribution with
increased signal-to-background ratio, and we do see that the distribution is
closer to what one would expect. The two peak structure still exists,
probably due to the remaining background events.

For 23066068, the RunLog says it is a good run. Not sure why you could not
get any events. Maybe the fast offline jobs failed? For 23069015, do you
analyze all events in st_physics? Do you see normal track multiplicities in
this run?
