Hi Matt,
Just two more suggestions for you to consider, you may added "utilizing RHIC mid-rapidity $pp$ data at $\sqrt{s} = 200 GeV” instead of “utilizing RHIC data”.
Also do you want to split this sentence
"We compare our new PYTHIA 8 tuned predictions to mid-rapidity inclusive $\pi^{+/-}$
spectra, jet sub-structure, Drell-Yan production, and underlying event observables from
RHIC and the Tevatron, as well as underlying event data from the Large Hadron Collider.”
into
"Such data include inclusive $\pi^{+/-}$ spectra, jet sub-structure, and underlying event observables. We extrapolate our new PYTHIA8 tuned predictions to the underlying event observables
from the Tevatron and the Large Hadron Collider."

This is a good suggestion. I made said edits and copy a new version below.

Hi Matt,
I think this looks really good. I am glad you are submitting an abstract. I would vote for a small rewrite for the sentence starting with "We compare..."
We compare our new PYTHIA 8 tuned predictions to midrapidity inclusive pi+/- spectra, jet substructure, Drell-Yan prothought duction and underlying event observables froRHIC and the Tevatron, as well as underlying event results from the LHC.
This rewrite has the downside of removing the energies, but it is somewhat redundant because you say RHIC and Tevatron. Also it seems weird to list the energies for RHIC and the Tevatron and not LHC so I thought to just choose either the name of the collider or the energy.
Best,Renee

_______________________________________________Hi all,
As we discussed last week, we will submit an abstract to MPI to present our tuning results. I have prepared one and attached it below.
Please let me know if there are comments/suggestions.
Cheers,Matt
