Tpc meeting October 17, 2024
Present: Jim,Alexia,Mathias, Tommy,Yuri,Flemming

Hardware:
4 more days until end of run (10/21) morning.
Will purge tpc  5-6 hours until methan concentration < 8%

Will prepare and distribute list of maintanence tasks. Among them
Gas system, calibrat O sensors, laser system, replace some mirrors
Est couple of month work.

Guidance from cool-down from CAD earlist March 25
AL involved in planning of removal of TPC. May not need to use insertion 
tooling,

Electronics:
Very few problems with FEES and RDO in low lum (13kHz) Min Bias 
auau-running
New problem identifies with reduced eff for sector 24 itpc rod 4. Not 
understood.

Software:
Yuri working of de/dx calibration on HLT.
Have ~100k events per fxt setting.

Disagreement over radius cut applied (6 cm vs 3) and around xy=0,0 for 
FXT introduces bias in data. Will need to be resolved.

TPC status and open issue will be brought up at Coll meeting.All agree 
that Tuesday 9-11 (EDT) will for for joint TPC – PWG meeting with issues 
that was brought up in several recent e-mail exchanges.
