Hi Yuri,

I see that the tpcAvg..table have both current and voltages for each PS channel.
BUT the Voltage doe not drop
to 0, the current does when the TPC has 100% dead time i.e no open gating grid.

Hi Flemming, you are right. Except, you should replace current to
voltage.

Hi Yuri,

What you are monitoring is the TPC currents, not the voltages; This
explains what you see, but in many, most is not all, case it should
not
affect you analyzes. What happens at least in two runs, and this does
indeed happen many times every run period. On system goes dead (could
be
TPC could be some other system, so no events are recorded (gating grid

stays closed as no triggers sho up thus the current drops to 0 , NOT
the
voltage.
So once the system is dead the operator stops the runs after a short
time (up to many minutes depending on their alertness.

So you are correct if I understand you correctly, you cannot use the
average current throughout the start-stop time. The average would also

be disturb by 100% dead through the runs e.g. during auto recoveries
of
TPC or TOF e.g.
