Just a reminder about the NSF pre-meeting with the review committee at 1pm today (Friday). You can see in Mark Coles’ reminder to the committee (below) what the nature of the meeting is, namely for the committee to review our materials and ask for items that might be missing or need clarification, so being there will let you hear what the might want to firsthand..

Subject: Reminder - teleconference with ATLAS and NSF review panel tomorrow at 1pm EDT

 

Dear All

 

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Friday August 13, we will have a brief (< 1 hour) telecon at 1pm EDT with the NSF review panel and the ATLAS High Luminosity Upgrade team to ask questions about the review materials provided in advance of next week’s panel review. This will be an opportunity for panelists to request additional information that they would like to see presented at the review or to ask clarifying questions. This will also assist ATLAS in fine-tuning their presentations to the interests of the panel so that we can proceed quickly during the review on August 18.

 

Panelists should review the materials that have been posted, along with the helpful reference provided by Mike Tuts (circulated late last week) that links the charge questions to those materials.

 

I look forward to seeing everyone on Zoom tomorrow at 1pm EDT.
