Subject: NSF external branding survey to RI community.

Dear colleagues,

Your assistance is requested in forwarding on this email invitation below from OLPA to participate in an NSF survey on External Branding to Science Communicators within the Research Infrastructure community. Note: The survey will be closing on May 11, 2022.

Please forward on to awardees and recipients to help increase survey participation.

Best Regards

Richard

Greetings colleagues!

The U.S. National Science Foundation is inviting the research infrastructure community to participate in an NSF survey. NSF is undertaking a new branding initiative with a key goal of providing critical resources to its facilities. As vital science communicators, we want to understand your experiences and challenges when incorporating NSF branding into your communications about NSF-supported research and innovations. The survey also requests information regarding your science visuals and social media engagement.

Your participation will help NSF understand what resources you need from us, how NSF branding is being implemented at your facility, what concerns and challenges you have, and what opportunities there are to provide the community with the tools they need. At the end of the main survey, there are a few extra questions specifically for communicators at NSF facilities.

As you know, consistent branding is vital to underscoring the impact of both the research being conducted and the funding NSF provides to the public and policymakers.

Please access the survey and contact NSFbranding AT nsf.gov with any questions. Thank you in advance for your time and your valuable input. The survey will be closing on May 11, 2022.

Best regards,
Your partners at NSF's Office of Legislative and Public Affairs
