Hi L2/L3 managers:

 

Attached is a draft HSF charge for the NSF review to take place during the week of April 17 (the exact dates are still to be determined). At the request of NSF we plan to hold the review at Columbia’s Nevis Labs (about 15 miles north of the main campus in Manhattan) on the Hudson between the towns of Dobbs Ferry and Irvington. A few initial points:

 

• Please have a look at the draft charge, and if you have questions/comments send them to us and we will bring them up with NSF. At the moment it is a draft (with approval from higher up NSF management). Let your L3s know.
• We will prepare hotel, travel information soon
• In light of this charge, consider who should be present at the review (L2, DL2, L3s). Also recall that in our PEP we have a provision to support NSF review travel (up to $1,000) to ease the burden on your institutional travel budgets.
