Hi NSF L2s and Deputies,

As you know the NSF review has a charge question on scientific (uncosted) labor. I have a slide in my overview that you might comment on, and a backup slide with more detail that may interest you.

  • RR-3.a “How has the scope of uncosted scientific labor changed with the rebaselining, and what are the implications of these changes on the project scope, budget, schedule, and risk?”
  • SR-2.a “Are there any concerns with the availability or utilization of uncosted labor? Is the project utilizing a satisfactory means for managing, monitoring, and tracking uncosted labor contributions?

Notice that I said there are no difficulties obtaining the planned scientific technical labor – if that is not true let me know (with some details).

Thanks, Mike
