HI Mike,

 

I noticed one potential source of confusion in going through the changes that you made to the PEP: the captions for the WBS dictionary tables:

    e.g. "Table 11: Specifications for the WBS 6.4 LAr deliverables"

refer to the contents as "specifications". However, we also have a "Technical Specifications" document (docdb #216) which is supposed to summarize the actual spec's for each deliverable. Perhaps it would be best to change the captions to:

    Table 11: Dictionary for the WBS 6.4 LAr deliverables

In communicating with Mark Coles, he asked for a summary of the PEP changes. I produced such a summary (and hinted that another option to make it perhaps clearer to the committee and internally at NSF would be to have a listing of side-by-side before-and-after changes – I originally sent him a set of changes that referenced the old PEP page numbers  and had a snippet of the change from the updated PEP). Turns out he very much wanted this other option that I told him would take another day… hence the new delay until tomorrow before we send the weblink to NSF and the reviewers. More time to cross check. If you are interested in the PEP changes I include the original summary file I sent to Mark – attached.

 

So, the current plan is to go live tomorrow. Please upload talks to DocDB and let Rosemarie know the new DocDB# so she can add the links in the indico.
