Hi Hal,
The summary table looks nice. Thanks.
For 'justification', what do you have in mind there? We can certainly translate our schedule/FTE numbers to the tasks in the spreadsheet, but that doesn't justify anything. You're thinking of a BOE like thing?
Thanks,
Tom

_______________________________________________Hi all,
Thanks for sending me your updated I&I dates. Although Trigger is still working on their plans (changed because of EF Tracking), I thought that I'd run a few conclusions that I've drawn from the exercise by you for comment. I've attempted to create a high-level summary of the NSF I&I schedule at:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16Uxta312jREN7OGsIKDG8Ohk5UXmcfsKf8pwqhkYLmY/edit?usp=sharing
Please let me know if I've captured things correctly. Two points emerge from this summary that we'll need to discuss and convey to Operations.
1. I&I activities will continue beyond the end of the current NSF Cooperative Agreement (31-Jan-2027).
2. There are significant "gaps" between the end of production and start of I&I activities for many deliverables. Some examples are included in the schedule above. We'll need to understand what (if any) support would be needed during these periods. It would be useful if you could draw up lists of individuals who will need support during the gaps. Since this doesn't appear in any budget yet, funding these people will be challenging. We'll need to make a strong case for each individual. But the first step is to see who needs the support.
Beyond these two items, the next steps in putting together our request that I will present at the M&O budget scrubbing are outlined at:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YBmIOZWIPHLfjCVMYA7AFgCh41YfTOK6s6A2O8iUQWk/edit?usp=sharing
Please start putting together (and justifying) effort estimates for the I&I work in your system. You can do this by modifying the resource numbers in the scrubbing report posted at:
We can discuss any questions you might have about this at the NSF managers meeting tomorrow.
