Hi all,

Thanks again for sending me your input on the schedule and resources needed for Operations-supported I&I (NSF-scope and ID decommissioning). I've now collected all of this information into a common 

    google sheet.

Please have a look and let me know if you have any questions or corrections.

The total budget request is $16.7M. This can be compared to:

    - what was presented at the Jul-2023 M&O scrubbing: $9.6M

    - scaling the DOE I&I request by the NSF/DOE total costs: $7.3M

    - current NSF CA (to Feb-2027): $6.4M

    - the FY24 M&O budget in areas "transferable" to I&I: $2.4M

More comparison details are given in the google sheet (Summary tab) Clearly, we'll need to provide a strong justification for the level of this request.

But - in terms of concrete next steps, I'd suggest the following.

1. send me corrections/comments on the schedule/budget (by 31-May)

2. I will present the document to Operations at the pre-scrubbing (1st week of June). Most of the discussion will center on the FY25 part of the budget. But I hope to get some feedback on the overall request as well.

3. Incorporate that feedback into the I&I scrubbing presentation on 18-Jul
