Forgive me if this is spam. i seem to be having problems sending email from my other address. Apologies if you get this multiple times.

Some comments:

* Stick to time on your talk – CMS ended up being 30 min over even with cutting the break to 5 min. I will provide time warnings. There is no apparent chair for the meeting!

* They way the ran it was that each speaker came up to the front with their laptop and projected their slides by sharing on the Zoom session (the Zoom info is on the Indico page). So please have your talk up on your laptop when you come up so you can Zoom share quickly. Have your speaker and mic off – using the room microphones and the room speakers.

* Their review went well. One item was their FY25 budget request where they did not show a contingency profile - so the committee said we can't approve that yet until you justify your 4.5M contingency request for Fy25. I will show a profile at the top level so hopefully that is not an issue.

Assorted comments:
* Contingency $13M has 87%CL
* FY 25 request is $6.4M + $4.5M (risk/uncertainty). [Ours will be $11.5M + 5.3M]
* They brought up the 10% NSF base cut, (NSF risk), and mentioned they did have DOE base cuts as risk, but showed no schedule impact – the committee was skeptical that there would be no schedule impact to hire techs. Not sure what our DOE base risk says about that? Asked about the impact of the 10% NSF base cut they did not yet know. I know our schedule for the 5.6 FTE-yrs in FY25-27 of scientific personnel at NSF base institutions (not including faculty)
There was some back and forth on the uncertainty on escalation used by CMS
* No tornado plots shown
* They got kudos on the project management tools and use
* All schedule contingency was at or greater than the 80% CL
* Closeout was at 5pm and finished at 5:25pm

Cheers, Mike
