Hello all,

A bit late, but I've finally put the latest version of the BOE on last week's agenda: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/5427/contributions/25513/subcontributions/850/attachments/21115/28749/LArBoE_FE_v5.docx
It should be in decent shape and has the latest table from the cost books.

There is one significant issue: Originally we described a 65 nm preamp/shaper as being part of the production cost (ie we said the NRE + 75 wafers were under the ADC cost. The wafers come in lots of 25 and we needed slightly less than 50 with the preamp/shaper+ADC so 75 was a reasonable "safety factor" . But now with just the ADC in 65 nm 75 is a real stretch (ADC needs about 16 wafers). Each lot of 25 wafers costs (old estimate) is $85k, so this would be a noticeable change in the total cost. I missed this completely when I was reviewing the RLS.

I didn't update this in the BOE because that would mean changing the RLS. It's not really an updated quote, which we decided not to do for this mini-FDR. Any ideas.

A smaller issue: we now plan for QFN100, but quote QFN72. Again, the problem is related to update quotes.

A very small issue: probably need to update the estimating method chart

If anyone can take a look I'd appreciate it. I need to upload this tomorrow for a scrubbing Wednesday morning US time. Of course if you can't read it by then no worries, I will still appreciate the comments later.

Best, Tim
