Dear L2 managers,

 

We will be using the August CPR for our first variance report exercise

that uses the IPD tools.  The threshold is $100k and 10% in cumulative

cost or schedule variance and CPI or SPI.  However, because we are in

the endgame for the NSF pre-MREFC period and need to understand exactly

where the money is going, we need cost variance reports for the L3s that

include:

 

LAr: SBU, SMU, UT Austin

Tile: Chicago, MSU, UT Arlington

Muon: BU, Michigan (CSM part)

Trigger: Indiana

 

(In these cases, the report should explicitly explain the variance at

those institutions.)

 

Attached is a set of slides Penka prepared to help the CAMs with this.

All reports need to be filed in IPD:

Due date is *COB 9/27* for all systems except ITk, where it is *COB

10/4* (since this is the first time we do it and it's ITk week).
