Hi Hao,

        Thanks for posting a draft of your L3 slides.  I give some comments 
below.

                John

p. 6 – mention FEC system test as critical milestone before launch of 
FEB2 preproduction?
     - “performed … (ie. past tense) and Slice Testboard as soon as 
available; now moved on to v1 FEB2 Prototype”

p. 7 – I doubt we will do HASS testing and burn-in this time, so remove 
these.  Also remove cooling plates installation, since latest plan is to 
do that at CERN

p. 9 – “… v1 board has recently …”
  - delete “for ALFE2 channel”

p. 10 – maybe explain what is 712 and 182 (ie. one was initially for Ph. 
1 and other is intended for HL-LHC, right?)

p. 14 – looks odd to list BNL as “external dependence”

p. 16 – add some intro. statement about following BNL’s safety policies 
(see Hong’s slide for example)

p. 19 – “Scientific labor used only for L3 management roles”

p. 20 – “… is on Critical Path, but are less dependent on CERN 
installation dates”

p. 18 – give values as of December, namely SPI = 0.89, CPI = 1.00.
  - “… because of external dependence (ie. FEB2) delay. New BCP 
(BCP-123) being processed now to implement impact of NSF BCP-1076 (see 
next slide)”

p. 18.5 – add slide with more details from BCP-123, including resultant 
cost increase and delay in your area; stress this BCP is not reflected 
in the documents for this IPR, for which P6 was frozen back in December

p. 22 – add up cost diff. and express as a % (to show it is very small); 
see my similar L2 slide

p. 25 – move the realized risk to the end, and make clear this is the 
upcoming BCP, and not included in the review documentation

p. 26 – add “Preparing for arrival of 128-ch v2 FEB2 Prototype this spring”
- also add integration of SRTM (you did that for v1 SRTM, right??)
