Hi all,

A reminder to Tim and Andy that their L3 inputs to the NSF Annual Report are due by this Tuesday. I attach an updated Word file, where I have indicated in green font the updated text I have written for my parts (I still need to update the figures, but the text is there). In case you have not started yet, you could insert your changes into this updated file, and also indicate in some color font the text you have updated, when you send the file back to me.
Regards,
John

Hi all, (and in particular Tim and Andy)

Here again is Mike Tuts' email about the required NSF Annual Report. As discussed, I have downloaded last year's report and ripped out all the parts we do not need to touch, and attach that version. What is needed is for each L3 to remove and replace the text and floats in the "Summary of Work Accomplished" section (starting on p. 4 in the attachment) and in the "Plans for FY25" section (starting on p. 9 in the attachment).  I will take care of the rest.
Tim and Andy should insert their new materials into this Word document and send it back to me.  Please do so by Sept. 30 at the latest so that I can put everything together in time for Mike's deadlines.
    Any questions, let me know.
    Thanks,
        John

Dear L2’s and Deputies,

This is a reminder that we are required to submit the NSF annual review covering the period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Recall this takes the place of the usual monthly September monthly report – *so no need to provide a September monthly report to Rosemarie*. In order to get it to NSF in a timely way before their deadline, *I would like to get the following narratives for the NSF Annual Report from you by Friday October 10, 2025 or before*. I will need to get the report to NSF before the end of October, but they usually like to see it two weeks before the deadline of October 31, 2024, hence the above Oct 10 deadline for your inputs, so I have time to put it together. For your convenience you can find a copy of the last annual report in DocDB #1036.

*Narratives needed from the L2s*:

 1. Summary of US work accomplished for 10/1/24-9/30/25 – using the
format in the previous report. Photos are welcome. (pages 4-24 in
    the old report)
 2. Brief summary of International ATLAS Overview for that period for
your L2 system (pages 26-28 in the old report)
 3. Update section on Retention of Materials and Tooling in support of
Operations if needed (pages 28 in the old report)
 4. Plans for FY26 (bulleted list is fine) (pages 29-31 in the old report)

I will provide the usual financial information (i.e. from page 32 on in the old report). I would prefer the narratives in Word (but if that is not possible plain text will do).

Thanks, Mike
