Thanks John, I agree: "Full Chain Integration" is a better description. I've updated this in the TKPP/OKPP transition chart. Best - Hal On Fri, 2026-05-01 at 10: 52 -0400, John Parsons wrote: Hi Hal, Thanks for the comments, which I

Hi Hal,

Thanks for the comments, which I will implement.  Concerning your
question, I think

FEB2 Production System Integration

is very appropriate (and has the advantage of agreeing with the notation
in P6).  The issue with "FEB2 System Integration" is that this includes
the FEC System Test (which necessarily gets a lot of attention in our
review), but that test will be finished soon and therefore should not be
considered as part of the future OKPP work that needs funding to be
identified, so "FEB2 Production System Integration" seems more clear

For the second one, I would prefer "Full Chain System Integration"
instead of "LASP Full Chain System Integration", for a couple reasons.
First, since the LASP board itself is not US scope, putting too much
emphasis on it in the labeling could just cause confusion.  Secondly,
the work described in P6 explicitly talks about integration all the way
from the FE (ie. including the FEB2) to the BE to the TDAQ.

John

Hi John,

The talk looks good to me - thanks! A few minor comments are appended
below. The comment on slide 8 will affect all of our presentations, so
everyone should weigh in on it.

Thanks  -  Hal

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
slide 2: remember to delete this slide

slide 8: We should decide on a naming convention for the two OKPP scope
System Integration activities (points 2 and 3 in your first bullet
group). Since we're going to be talking about these in multiple
presentations/contexts, it would be good to always use the same
language, which is consistent with what's in P6. I've been referring to
these as "FEB2 System Integration" and "LASP System Integration". But
these may not be the best choices. The P6 task groups are:
     6.04.04.01.03 FEB2 Production System Integration
6.04.04.02.04 LASP Full Chain System Integration
Do you have a preference?
Note: this language is also used in slides 12,16,17

slide 20: I would suggest to change the wording of the 6.4.5(note typo
in WBS) Preamp/Shaper bullet
     - (TKPP) implies to me that there is also Obective scope in the
Preamp/Shaper.
     - You might consider adding a sub-bullet saying:
"when complete this will achieve the TKPP scope for LAr"

slide 22: remember to remove this slide

slide 23: "2024 IPR" --> "2025 IPR" in 1st bullet

slide 24: remove green text box at bottom right

Hi all,

I have put a draft of my LAr L2 presentation for the upcoming
DOE IPR
in docdb #1961.  There are still some backup slides to fill out, but the
main talk is ready for review.  Comments are welcome.

        Regards,
                John
