I don't have anything to show either. I cut my detector beampipe into 9cm long segments (that's 100 segments, hence the 9cm) for radiation simulations with DESYNC. Only in the first two segments after the 4.5m mask do I see radiation levels above a few urad/h. I could probably get rid of that by making the beampipe aperture a little larger. Right now it's the same as the mask.

     I just noticed that no meeting notice went out for our bi-weekly eRHIC IR meeting for today. As a reminder, Elke and Alexander are not going to be able to attend today, so the idea we discussed was to have a brief mtg to start writing down some of the requirements/specification for the beam pipe in the IR region.

     I propose that we hold the meeting at 3 pm today for those who are available. Perhaps it will be a short mtg.
