Sorry this clashes with our regular group meeting here so I won’t make it.

Your proposal for next step below seems reasonable. From my side I think I have received as many responses and ORCID’s as I am going to from my subgroup. More would require the request come from someone higher up the ePIC food chain. Thanks Peter and Pietro for the work getting this done. By and large I think it has worked from what I can see. Yes many ORICD IDs might be missing but from a general skim, no scientific analysis done, it seems the missing are largely non-authors.

Moving forward I do think this is something that can be required as a person registers in ePIC, just as we are require to provide a name and institute. I guess ti will become even easier if BN truly starts to insist on this info too.

Sorry again about the late notice today.  We would like to try and meet again this week to get updates from everyone before we make our final reports to ePIC spokespeople:

The next steps are:

1. Committee members please update the current list of institutional replies
2.

3. We will freeze the documents today – they will remain visible to us and the institution, but will be read-only
4. We will be preparing emails to CC member:

1. They will primarily acknowledge our receipt of their form
2. But they will each indicate the specific missing pieces (e.g. FTE and ORCID)

6. We will be sending the list of non-responding institutions (we’re down to 9) to ePIC management to discuss next steps
7. We will compile the draft collaboration list for the CC chair and vice chair – it will only contain institution, name, email and ORCID.  FTE numbers are considered private and will not be passed along.
8.  

1. This will be the basis for CC to send out a new collaboration list that will be used to update the phonebook.

9. Finally, we will be reporting again to SP/CC at 7:30 am EST on Friday 21 February
