Hi Silvia, all –

 

The final actions we took this week are:

 

1. We (finally) froze all the existing spreadsheets

1. All the newer ones are read-only
2. The older ones are now hidden

We have made a new member list, being reviewed by CC chairs

1. Just name/email/institution/ORCID – to update the phonebook
2. More sensitive material (author, FTE, etc.) – will be stored in a separate database (“the membership database”)

We provided management with some analytics (individuals and FTE per DSC, working group, etc.)We provided the lists of institutes who are withdrawing (4) and non-responding (9) for management to handle

Finally we reported this to SP/CC today, in one of their regular meeting.

 

The final thing to do is to send emails to each set of CC members, giving the status of their sheet (e.g. letting them know about missing FTE or ORCID).  However, it is not planned to fix these now, but only on the phonebook and membership DB itself.

 

The bottom line is that we’re done with this process – thanks to everyone for their hard work on this!!  We owe you guys all a lot.

Dear ePIC membership committee –

 

Sorry again about the late notice today.  We would like to try and meet again this week to get updates from everyone before we make our final reports to ePIC spokespeople:

The next steps are:

1. Committee members please update the current list of institutional replies

7. We will compile the draft collaboration list for the CC chair and vice chair – it will only contain institution, name, email and ORCID.  FTE numbers are considered private and will not be passed along.
