Remember the crappy interface behavior: clicking ‘add’ after entering a goal adds nothing. If you leave without hitting Save after entering all your goals, everything is gone.

Hong has put out the word that entering goals in the system -- including a required I&D goal -- is mandatory now. So please write down 3 or go goals, keeping them to a fairly high level, add an I&D one, and send them to me. (Some have sent some already, thanks, please add an I&D one and send them again.) When we converge you can add them in peoplesoft.

For the I&D one. You can look at Erica's slides, perhaps they will inspire you to a specific goal. Or you can follow the high level goal approach, and put in something general, along the lines of "Do my part to foster an inclusive work environment and support diversity in the lab population, such as by seeking out diverse candidates for new positions." And use Erica's slides as a guide to doing something you can report in October.

They are still working on the FAQs and will post them as soon as they are completed.
