    Hi Torre,
    
    sPHENIX was asked to provide input orally and in written form and
    identify someone to give the oral statement. It is probably
    important to listen in since this looks like it will be the roadmap
    for the future of rcf. I am particularly worried about the scale of
    the rcf "superfacility" plans and that this might negatively impact
    the existing programs (where ATLAS is probably in better shape than
    the RHIC programs which tend to be ignored)

NPP decided to have a brief external review later this month of our computing efforts (see attached). With transition to new building (and more potential capacity), EIC and HL-LHC computing coming, competitive cloud and other services becoming available it is important to see if our overall direction is reasonable.

 

The list of the referees is below. When agenda/site will become available – we will forward it to you. It will be good if some of your experts will attend/comment. Providing feedback to the members of the committee will be useful as well.
