Hi all,

Brookhaven National Lab has a staff position open in the Physics Department’s Nuclear and Particle Physics Software (NPPS) Group for a PanDA developer, contributing to the core PanDA system and ecosystem and our work on PanDA for the Rubin Observatory, ATLAS, sPHENIX and others. We have some ability to adjust the level of the position to experience (I-7 or I-8 in BNL lingo). A CERN based position can be possible if that’s important. Hi all,

Please join me in wishing Sergey Padolski all the best as he soon departs for a new position that was too attractive to take no for an answer, congratulations Sergey! Thank you for the excellent work over 7 years or so that you have given to BNL, PAS and NPPS; to ATLAS, Belle II, Rubin, sPHENIX and probably others as well. This emerged suddenly, I was surprised too! Sergey expects to leave BNL at the end of the year, ie the end of the month. It's a pity we can't gather to send him off, times being what they are. All the best Sergey!
