Great! Saves me time in writing a separate note.

Also in addition to presenting the ZDC energy distribution at the calo calibration meeting on my behalf, you may also want to include the SMD x,y profiles. It’s not clear where the boundaries are in terms of what topical group to present ZDC/SMD results destined for approvals.

I’ll discuss offline on the final format the SMD x,y profiles should be,  in readiness for approvals.

Best,
Ejiro

Hi Ejiro,

Thanks for the advise. I think we better also squeeze in ZDC energy calibration as well into the approval session. It is also good proof of consistency with the past measurements in PHENIX era (as attached). How do you think?

I'll try to setup write permission to others.

I submitted a talk request on the ZDC/SMD commissioning in p+p and initial results.
Since I was invited to give a talk on bulk physics at the same conference, I’ll withdraw the ZDC/SMD talk request.

I think you should allow write access to the overleaf document and include every one who contributed to making the ZDC/SMD and local polarimetry commissioning successful to this point.

Best,

Dear cold-QCD group,

I haven't heard back from anyone who is interested in presenting
poster in the coming RHIC&AGS meeting. Jaein shows the interest to
present a poster for the local polarimeter. Let us know if there can be
any conflict.

I think it is also good idea to ask Genki to cover the readiness of
the spin specific readiness including local polarimetery in his sping
talk. Towards these reports, we need to swim thru the plot approval
session in the next general meeting on Friday June 7th. Possible
candidate plots to be proceeded to the approval session are:

1. x,y profiles w/ and w/o radius cut. 2 dim and 1 dim projections with
spin up and down superimposed.

2. bunch by bunch asymmetries

3. sin(phi) modulation for blue and yellow for both fowards and backwards.

Anything else? Your advises are appreciated.

Thanks to Devon and Jaein to initiate the work, the development of
documentation already started. The deadline for the analysis note is
coming Tuesday. Sorry for such a rush, but the finite asymmetries were
first observed only 5 days ago...

Ralf and Calo, please advise what to do with the write permission of
this document. Shall we open to everybody or limited authors.

Best regards,
