Hi, Xin
Thanks for the new sets of very useful comments! They have been incorporated in the new slides updated in the same place.

I think so too. Remember similar discussion in the MVTX review practice.

Good point.
Similarly we could also consider plot x-axis as 1/pT, which is the intrinsic scale for track curvature and the relative multiple scattering effect. 1/pT always give people a pause when reading the plot though. I do agree that Log10(pT) is much easier to read.
Cheers

Hi Jin,
Very nice slides. I only have a few small/cosmetic suggestions for you to consider
1) Title slide, spell out "HF", and probably be consistent with capitalizing first letters.
2) Slide 5, not sure if it is clear between "Recorded Lum.." and "Sampled Lum...", Maybe you want to use "Recorded MB dataset" for clarification.
3) Slide 6, "DCA<10um for pT>10 GeV/c", do we want to include this? We probably can reach this, but considering on the physics requirement aspect, one doesn't necessarily need so stringent DCA resolution for high momentum particles as the separation from PV would be easier due to the Lorentz boost. On the other hand, technical wise, in really the high pT resolution may suffer from limit alignment calibration precision, the long term sensor position stability etc. - it is probably write "#sigma_DCA < ...." or "#delta_DCA < ... " instead of "DCA < ...".
4) Slide 10, B-meson from 2-10 GeV/c should also offer sensitivity to differentiate energy loss mechanisms. Maybe you can just group the two physics points together, and listed below the two probes (B-mesons and b-jet) - one question here, the first blue point with pileup is actually lower than the red one. I guess this is probably due to the binning (I see less blue data points at low pT). This may be asked just in case. - one suggestion probably for future (understand it is kind of late now) performance plots (eff, resolution etc), I would suggest to use LogX scales so one can have a better view of the low pT performance (pT<2GeV/c) which are crucial for B-meson and b-jet performance.
5) Slide 11/12, not sure if you need to list it on the slides, but you may mention that we are also exploring B->J/psi (and maybe B->e high pT) channels.
6) Slide 15, "Charm chemistry and HF hadronization" may be better to use "HF baryons, chemistry and hadronization". I would prefer to emphasize the HF baryons considering the recent new interesting measurements from ALICE, LHCb and STAR.
Thanks and enjoy the conference. Best Regards
/xin
