Dear all,

Thanks to additional comments and suggestions, I uploaded the final version of my slides at our indico page: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/5111/timetable/#20181001
Gunther, could you upload them onto the HP2018 indico? Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Songkyo

Hi Songkyo,

I have a few minor comments to your very nice talk below.

Slide 3 - Maybe add a minor comment describing CD-1/3A as you did for
CD-0 and CD-4?
Slide 4 - Correlation -> Correlations
Slide 5 - Possible add the word "complimentary" somewhere?  You have
all that white space in the upper right, so it could be a separate
bullet there.
Lower pT at RHIC -> Lower pT at RHIC than LHC
Jet up to ~70 GeV -> up to 70 GeV  (combined with the earlier comment,
should keep you on 1 line)

Why do the red boxes cut off the lower pT?  Is this indicating that
all our results are at pt,jet > 20 GeV?  I would probably have the
boxes line up with the lines from the plot, maybe we don't get down to
10 GeV in our measurements but right now this really draws attention
to that and I don't think it would be constructive.

slide 10: based on ATLAS -> based on ATLAS method (maybe cite paper)
Maybe leave the thresholds here as variables, like E_T,thres instead
of 10 GeV?  We are still developing this algorithm.
Run jet finder (with various R) on background subtracted tower and get
final jets -> Run jet finder with chosen resolution parameter (R) on
background subtracted even to find final jets.

Slide 12: fraction between -> fraction of
Side 13: I would just say that the uncertainty comes from the
uncertainty in the scaling factors rather than explaining that you
shifted things back and forth 20%.
Slide 14: Good first observable to -> Good first observable of
Slide 15: Best chance -> Best observable
Slide 17: "PHENIX style" isn't very informative, maybe try to write a
descriptive statement?
Confirm the UE -> Validates the UE
Slide 19: will allow to -> will allow us to
at a wide length scale -> at a wide range of length scales

Enjoy the conference!

Rosi

Hello all,

Thanks for attending the rehearsal and giving valuable comments and suggestions.
Here is the new draft for my HP2018 jet talk : https://www.dropbox.com/s/huqacsgvkoo5vj3/20181004_songkyo_HP2018_v2.pdf?dl=0

Indico keeps saying file uploading is temporarily unavailable. So I will upload there later.

Songkyo
