Building 912 ODH System testing on Thursday, April 16, 2015 between noon and 5:00pm.

No work should be scheduled in the area around the sPHENIX Magnet during that time.

Dear 912 Residents & Users,

The Access Controls certification of the 912-ODH system will be performed on Thursday, April 16, 2015 between noon and 5:00pm. See Dan Carroll’s note below.

No personnel are to be in the 912 area while this testing is done.  If you have an issue and cannot suspend work in 912 in BLG 912 for the 5-6 hours required, please contact me and Dan ASAP. Thank you.

Gentlemen,

 

It is time again for Access Controls certification of the 912-ODH system.

During this test, the nitrogen valve will close numerous times, ODH strobes and alarms in Bldg 912 EEBA and inside the ERL blockhouse and Laser Room will also be activated. It would be advantageous for all involved if no personnel are in the 912 area while this testing is done.

 

Please advise a date and time when we can perform the test. Anticipated time to complete is approximately four to six hours.
