Hi,
Thanks ! I’ve done some re-arrangement (like a librarian) for the newest PDF files that Paul has placed on the top directory. Anybody has any better idea, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
--- I’ve renamed "superconducting Solenoid.pdf" to "BaBar Note 233.pdf". So, this is the 3rd version of this note ! It’s in fact the most complete even though it scan some empty pages (each figure seems to an empty page). The version that SLAC Librarian scanned for us avoided these empty pages but she occasionally missed some pages L
Then, I use the “index” given by Pasquale file [ “BaBar - Document Index (from Pasquale).pdf” ] and re-arranged a bit :
--- I have created “2.5 Rack Instruments” under “Volume 2 DESCRIPTION OF COMPONENTS”; and then moved “Rack Instruments.pdf” to this directory.
--- I’ve moved “Current Leads.pdf” to under the sub-directory: “Volume 2 DESCRIPTION OF COMPONENTS/2.3 MECHANICAL and ELECTRIC POWER” as “2.3.1 Current Leads.pdf” (even though we’ve already had “2.3.1 He Cooled Current Leads.pdf” … similar but slightly different)
--- I’ve moved “Dump_Resistor_Breaker.pdf” to “Volume 2 DESCRIPTION OF COMPONENTS/2.3 MECHANICAL and ELECTRIC POWER” as "2.3.11 Breaker and Dump Resistor.pdf"
Not finding obvious correspondence within Pasquale’s index (mentioned above),
--- I’ve created a directory called “Power Supply & Controls”, and moved “Dynatrol Manual.pdf”, “Material Properties.pdf”, “Voltage_Breakdown.pdf” to this directory
--- I’ve also renamed “BaBar Solenoid.pdf” to "Controls & Power Supply.pdf" as that’s the name on the 2nd page and what its contents in this document has suggested.

Hi Jim,
Sorry, I need to take tomorrow off. I have figured out 90% of the sensor signal path and am on my way to making a comprehensive wiring diagram for all groups to use in their systems (magnet control/cryo/etc). This drawing will be essential to easily “ring out” each sensor, one at a time, to diagnose their health via using test equipment (volt-ohmmeters, etc.) to measure their expected response & characteristics against vendor data we have in the document set. Some of the SLAC sensor spread sheet notes indicate bad behavior of some (just a few) sensors.
I've also been working with Tom Tallerico, Len Masi, and Rich Meir from the Cryo group to sort through the documentation in order to support sensor to instrumentation & controls connections for Roberto’s “Cold Test Piping & Instrumentation” system drawing.
For me, inspection & identification of the Valve Box connectors (from ladders) was the necessary element that allowed connector pin to sensor wire comparisons on the master SLAC control system wiring diagrams. This lead to knowing which sensors were buried inside the valve box and which ones were inside the magnet. All magnet & valve box sensors connected to the SLAC control racks and quench resistor breaker box were via numerous high density Amphenol connectors. Control wire counts are approximately 400. See attached diagram. Roberto’s control plan will make the final sPHENIX cable plant configuration simpler.
I have added 5 more Babar document volumes to the server. More are being copied by Copy Services and after my review, I will be adding those early next week.
Regards, Paul

Hi,
Just a reminder that we will meet tomorrow at 0900 in room 3-192 (same place as our last meeting). I have set up an Indico Page for us if you have any slides you would like to show the group.
As before, I will try my best to keep the meeting to around an hour.
Thanks and have a nice afternoon. See you tomorrow. Jim
