Kin,
I was back to my office before I could expect and
I looked at the data reported during the construction.
Indeed the turns lay-out was changed wrt the design.
According the Quality Control Sheath the external layer is done with
188 (thin)+159 (tick) + 189 (thin) =536 turns
The inner layer:
184 (thin)+164 (tick) + 183 (thin) =531 turns
So, in the end, the report in your hand
has the correct information.
I also found some photos of an insulated internal
splice taken during the winding and a couple of photos
of the leads. In the latter photos you can see the Rutherford cable
extracted from
the stabiliser and subsequently embedded in the copper
leads through a soft soldering.
