1.  The Magnet schedule files (separately for the low-field/high-field tests  and the sPHENIX project) have been distributed to various people.
I am waiting for people to give me feedback so that I may modify accordingly.

According to the present project files that were written by J. Mills, the low-field test is to be done in late Jan.  I have noticed that the cool-down
from 300 K to 80/90K is budgeted at 21 days but we need just 2 weeks (~10 days in the project file).    If we can find a few of these, we may
be able to do the test earlier.

1.1  During the meeting, R. Than told us that the Cryo group will work on the warm piping as soon as possible/practical so that
the warm piping is ready before the modified VJ lines delivered to us, every

2.  There is no possibility of making use of the down-time due to "ERL Tower 3 for realignment of the pump skid" as it has been re-arranged away.
( I write this only because I mentioned this in my agenda. )

3.  Ray Ceruti reported : " I have the replacement cryogenic break that has adapters welded on both ends.  It has been successfully leak checked and just recently the welds have passed the inspection.  The unit is now ready to replace the bad one in the valve box.  I’ve scheduled this to be done with the welder on Thursday. 9/24.  If all goes well we should be doing the vacuum / pressure leak check next week. "

M. Anerella said that the above-mentioned "inspection" was done by A. Farland (in "Site Resources Division" --- when I check the BNL LDAP database ).

4. In the meeting, we looked at the transparencies sent by Paul Orfin about the platform layout (on top of the magnet cryostat)
and R. Than helped explain.   Paul's proposal was generally accepted and D. Phillips said that he and the Cryo group will just need to do the actual platform layout to accurately fit the cryo lines and the turbo pumps etc.
