Hi,

 

As I’ve promised in today’s meeting, I have agreed to make up a list of works that need to be done for the High-Field Test.  Here, they are.  Please don’t hesitate

to let us know if you feel that I am missing anything.

 

 

Finish the ongoing short-circuit test (Pablo/Carl/Zeynep)

 

Finsih strain gauge/linear pot connections (P. Giannotti) and reading out (W. Perkul)

Hipot test after cool-down (Carl)

( Cryo group would try to see whether the "back to the Plant" mode would work.  If it works, we can run continuously. )

Install the Box around the current leads (M. Lenz)

Finish checkoff list (such as putting up the 5 G sign and barrier, housekeeping ...) so we get all necessary signatures to start “testing”.
[ MCR has been calling the responsible persons to sign off almost every day … so they know who they are J ]

Do compensation for the L & R in  the power supply (Carl or Pablo)

Check voltage taps to make sure that they are where we think they are, though Sonny checked them already when they were warm, --- Carl
