There was discussion today on the vibration of wire bonds in a magnetic field as a result of pulsed signals.  Here  is a link to the PHENIX VTX study that concluded the need to encapsulate the VTX pixle/strip-pixel/FVTX wire bonds. I think I posted it on a "public" page that everyone can access, if you have problems let me know,
