Dear Miguel and Leo,

 

Do you know the resonance frequencies of MAPS wire bond? Although it was argued that it is not an issue for ALICE ITS, I think sPHENIX should reconsider this carefully since we are going to operate at lower trigger rate ~15kHz, compared to ALICE’s 50kHz/Continuous readout(~100kHz).

 

For the previous PHENIX pixel detector, the resonance frequencies range from 5~12 kHz, see the slides sent out by Eric.
