Hi Ed and Grazyna,
Yes, it is a good idea to have a clean tent with sufficient space for the
half-detector, the overall length is <~ 2.5m, not super large.
We could bring it up at next sPHENIX planning meeting?

Cheers,
Ming

Hi Ming and Ed,

When we build STAR vertex detector, HFT, (also built in LBNL and
transported to BNL), we have had a small "clean room" tent set in the
assembly hall area of STAR. It was meant for the same. And I think it
worked well. There was enough room, that even when STAR detector was
rolled back to the assembly hall, this clean tent was not disturbed.

Can we have a similar arrangement in sPHENIX assembly area ?

best, Grazyna
