    Hi Dennis,
    
    how to get to the files was presented 2 weeks ago in the software
    meeting in Sasha's slides and a one page summary of mine (saying the
    same thing):

    Direct lookups via ls are hard on the lustre meta data server (also
    gpfs but to a lesser degree) and you will get the same lists. It's
    better to get used to this now - in the near future we will have to
    use some directory structure so not all files end up in the same
    place slowing down access, at that point a lookup via ls just
    becomes very painful.

Thanks a lot - could you put some brief “release notes” on this list as well - i.e. major differences with respect to the previous production, a reminder of the file path (hard coded or symlinks) where the output is stored, etc.
