Hi Dennis,
As far as I know there are not many changes compared to the previous production.
There is a timing flag added to calorimeter towers, some calibration improvements,
and a few more processed runs (previous production had only 130, this one has 166).
Previous production was more like a test of new production scripts and macros.
Sasha.

Hi Chris and all,

Thanks for the links to the instructions. (I remember this well from the Software meeting, but it is good to repeat for those of our collaborators who may not.)

Sasha, if you could kindly also summarize the significant changes with respect to the previous production.

Hi Dennis,

how to get to the files was presented 2 weeks ago in the software meeting in Sasha's slides and a one page summary of mine (saying the same thing):

Direct lookups via ls are hard on the lustre meta data server (also gpfs but to a lesser degree) and you will get the same lists. It's better to get used to this now - in the near future we will have to use some directory structure so not all files end up in the same place slowing down access, at that point a lookup via ls just becomes very painful.

Hi Sasha,

Thanks a lot - could you put some brief “release notes” on this list as well - i.e. major differences with respect to the previous production, a reminder of the file path (hard coded or symlinks) where the output is stored, etc.

Hello all,
The title says it all.
We now have a bunch of DSTs with software tag ana.391 and
database tag 2023p006.
Enjoy!
Sasha.
