Minutes shift change 2023-04-17

general (Kin)

- test walk through for operation readiness today
  - no new issues
- real walk-through next Monday

evening:  Oliver
- nothing

night:  Ejiro
- the mouse came back
- Stefan called the building manager today, who will put in a work order for that

day:  Virginia
- EMCal South LV was turned on today with cooling (in addition to North)
  - but no interlocks yet, so only expert operation

MBD (Mickey)
- after Jimmy cleaned up cables, checked noisy channels, better, but should be fixed up some more
- Mickey cleaned up more, will continue tomorrow

HCal (Virginia)
- paused taking cosmics data until we can sort out issues with data taking

EMCal (Anthony)
- all racks reading out
- now checking cabling in rack room
- also checking out broken packets (checksum errors)

TPOT (Hugo)
- Hugo only coming tomorrow (flight issues)
- plan to work on noise, electronics

TPC (John K)
- Rob gave OK to turn on even number sectors in both North and South
  - no interlocks yet, expert only

INTT (Rachid)
- N and S tested, testing in bore done
- Steve and Sal were working on cooling interlock system
- will test interlocks tomorrow morning
- Maya updated GUI for LV to be released to shift crew
- today new framework for FELIX
- will start testing at 5:00pm (daily)

MVTX (John H)
- new fibers will later this week

sEPD (Rosi)
- South side frame being installed
- will be surveyed tomorrow
- will install 12 optical fibers now
- other 12 will be installed later this week
- that will be all that goes in for now

DAQ
- see separate DAQ meeting after shift change

Magnet (Kin)
- hipot test
  - narrowed problem down to be inside magent
  - noticed that vacuum pump wasn’t running, turned pump on, then test successful
  - that means current was flowing through gas in magnet

Gas/cooling water (no report)
- Rachid requests nitrogen to protect INTT sensors

Plan of the day
- DAQ development
- subsystem testing
