RHIC Status (see attached screen shots)

Also: Need 56 bunch store to commission stochastic cooling

- will start today—>expect unstable beam for 2 h

- maybe finish by Wednesday

Access after this store (2 h): restricted access (XA): experimenter access (no keys)

STAR

- started to collect physics data Saturday morning

- crossing angle works very well

- 1 mrad: RMS 17 cm (cf. 0 mrad: RMS 40 cm)

- damage in forward detector due to beam dump: miscommunication with MCR
