Hello,

We haven’t found anybody for the DAQ Operator shifts for next week.  Here is a special, one-time deal:  since beam will be off Tuesday 7:30am to Wednesday evening, we could live with starting this on Thursday 0:00 h.  If you are willing to sign up, you’ll get full credit for two days less shift duty!

Best,
Stefan

Dear All,

After starting our commissioning with two-person watch shifts only (Shift Leader, Detector Operator), we now feel that we have reached the point where we both (i) will benefit from having a dedicated DAQ Operator on shift and (ii) the DAQ may be in a stable enough place that it can be transitioned from expert operation to shift operation.

Therefore we have just opened DAQ Operator shifts from May 30 to June 27 to bridge the gap between two-person watch shifts and full four-person regular shift operation.

We realize this is very short notice.—The shift training will be on Monday—Memorial Day.  So we might not be able to fill all positions.  If you are able to help out, the most important position to be filled is the overnight shift, when few experts are around, followed by the evening shift.

Best regards,
Stefan
