Commissioning and running of sPHENIX

Dear tracking detector and tracking experts, dear all,

 

Please join the next commissioning task force session on Tuesday, Aug-8 at 10:00 EDT.  

 

Despite the unfortunate early termination of the Run23, tracker commissioning continues. In the near term, we need to take advantage of the expensive operations with the magnet and watch shifts. And the cross-subsystem priority could be:

 

1. Field on cosmic data with all tracker
2. Field off cosmic data with all tracker
3. DAQ development to take data together and at designed throughput

 

We would like to use this meeting to discuss the near term TODOs with beam off commissioning. Stefan will open the introduction on the resource and schedule constraints.
