Upon our request, PK Feng and the C-AD Power Distribution group have agreed to move the “transfer” test to 9:30 am. 

 

It seems that they’re eager to do the “transfer” test as soon as possible. 

 

• Expect a 10-20 second power interruption at the beginning and conclusion of this test.

 

Typically, we won’t have interruption as we have UPS.  Here they’re talking about those systems (like the Cryo Group’s Air Compressors in 1008B) which don’t have UPS

protection.

Can you please do the test at 9:30am ?  

 

We are worried about any problem.   It'll be good that we don't need to stop in the middle of  our work.  Due to meeting, our works don't usually start before 9:30 am.

Please be advised that on Tuesday 2/6/2024 we will be performing  the monthly transfer test for 1008 at 10:30am.

 

Areas affected: 

1008A, 1008B,  Alcove 7C,  Alcove 9A  and Alcove 9B

 

Only systems on N/E power will be affected.

Expect a 10-20 second power interruption at the beginning and conclusion of this test.
