Hello sPHENIX Collaboration,
sPHENIX is now in the fourth week of 2-person watch shifts with John Haggerty starting as Period Coordinator!
In addition to significant cosmic calibrations for the HCal, and TPC has now been on (under expert control) the last two nights for cosmic data taking. The INTT re-installation is complete with final debugging being done. The MVTX reinstall should happen tomorrow. Note that all detectors are still under expert control. Also, following up on the collaboration survey, the shifters' pictures are now on the overhead monitor (thanks Martin!), and the chairs that were broken are being fixed (thanks Paul Orfin!).

Thanks in advance to our fourth set of dedicated shifters pictured below!
* In terms of shift sign ups, we still have some key owl shifts that need experienced people to sign up (particularly as shift leader). Kin and I have also set a policy that individuals cannot cancel their already signed up shifts on the page. If you need to cancel, you will need to email Kin and myself and you have the responsibility to find a replacement (and then we can make the change).
* We will continue with daily Shift Change Meetings (SCM) at 3:30 pm ET. We have a daily google doc of notes and "plan of the day" linked from the run page. The Zoom link for the SCM is also given at the top of the Run-2024 web page and repeated below.
Note that for a few weeks, there will also continue to be the 8:30 am ET daily meetings chaired by Jim Mills and John Haggerty.
Sincerely,
Jamie
