Subject: ODH Certification Testing in RHIC Tunnel -7Z1

All,

 

Tomorrow morning, Friday March 15^th, Access Controls Technicians will be Certification Testing in 1008 Tunnel Sector, specifically 7Z1. This will severely limit access into 7Z1 and Gate 7GE1. This area, 7Z1 will have ODH alarms being activated, so when ODH alarms are alarming, all personnel should follow their training and evacuate the area. This testing should not affect the alarms in 1008IR. This testing, however, will affect mode in 1008IR in that the area will occasional be going to Safe Access, but the shield wall is open so all work in the IR can continue. Please, make every effort to keep the gate at 8GE1 closed, as this will make testing go smoother.
